Each space was thoughtfully decorated to provide a joyful and meaningful experience, making every moment unforgettable.
Beyond the fun, the day held a profound educational significance. Through various activities, students not only enjoyed pleasant moments with their peers but also reflected on the meaning of Easter and its message of personal and collective renewal.

6th-grade students carry out a project on child protection

As part of their meaningful learning process, our sixth-grade students made impactful presentations on fundamental topics such as child protection, the importance of healthy friendships, and how to identify warning signs in personal relationships.
Using the metaphor of a traffic light, they clearly and creatively explained how to recognize different types of connections:
Green light: friends who respect you, support you, and make you feel safe.
Yellow light: relationships that generate doubts or sometimes cross your boundaries.
Red light: people who judge, do not respect your emotions, or make you feel inferior.
The students worked in teams to develop and present their ideas to their classmates and a panel of four teachers, who provided enriching feedback to strengthen their learning.
At the end, the three best groups were recognized for their creativity, clarity, and depth in addressing the topic.
We are very proud of what our students have learned, reflected on, and shared!
Domínico Americano School celebrates Spirit Week with different themes

Spirit Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm, filling the halls with creativity, energy, and community spirit. For five days, our students and teachers participated in a series of themed activities that celebrated camaraderie, institutional identity, and, of course, fun.
The week began with the much-anticipated Crazy Hair Day, a day when the wildest, most creative, and original hairstyles took over the school. From impossible buns to vibrant colors, our students unleashed their imagination.
The second day was full of adrenaline with Sports Day, which included an impressive judo demonstration by an athlete from the National Federation. Additionally, the youngest kindergarteners showed their bravery by climbing the rock wall, overcoming fears and reaching new heights—a clear display of teamwork and sportsmanship.
On the third day, we celebrated Matching Day, where friends and entire groups coordinated to wear matching outfits. Creativity shone once again, and the school atmosphere was filled with color and unity.
We continued with Character Day, a day when everyone transformed into their favorite characters. From superheroes to figures from cinema and literature, it was a day to celebrate individuality and the creative expression of each student, reaffirming that we all have a unique and special character.
Finally, we ended the week on a high note with Cougars Day, a celebration filled with institutional pride. Students and teachers wore their Cougars T-shirts and demonstrated what it means to be part of this community.
Thank you to everyone who made this special week possible. Cougar spirit is more alive than ever!
