Domínico Americano School celebrates the graduation of the Altheia Class of 2025

Domínico Americano School proudly celebrated the graduation ceremony of the Altheia Class of 2025, a heartfelt event that marked the end of a pivotal chapter in the students’ lives.

The ceremony began with the procession of the graduates accompanied by their sponsors, followed by the national anthems of the Dominican Republic and the United States of America.

The welcome address was delivered by Linda Mauad Font, Director of Domínico Americano School, who highlighted the dedication, maturity, and commitment of this generation in the face of a constantly changing world. The opening speech by the students was given by the Class of 2025 Salutatorian, Omar Alejandro Uribe Vargas, who shared a message centered on gratitude and the lessons learned along the way.

The highlight of the ceremony was the awarding of diplomas and recognitions, led by Eng. Ramón Sosa, Executive Director of ICDA, and Linda Mauad Font, Director of DAS, who congratulated each student for their efforts and achievements.

Special recognitions were also presented to outstanding students, with the participation of Lucy Threan de Lamarche, Vice President of the Board of Directors; Adalgisa Núñez, High School Counselor; and Sandra Díaz, President of the Parents’ Committee.

At the close of the ceremony, Eng. Ramón Sosa encouraged the graduates to lead with integrity and to maintain their passion for learning. The Valedictorian of the class, Eva Luna Amado Alberto, concluded with a moving farewell speech filled with gratitude, dreams, and a commitment to the future.

With the official presentation of the graduates, Domínico Americano School bid farewell to a class that leaves behind a legacy of excellence, values, and growth. The school community joyfully celebrates the beginning of a new chapter for these young leaders.

National Honor Society: A Night to Recognize Excellence and Values

Our educational community experienced a special evening during the National Honor Society ceremony, where we honored exemplary students for their outstanding academic performance, positive leadership, commitment to service, and strong ethical values.

This event not only celebrates effort and dedication, but also emphasizes the importance of shaping young individuals of integrity, capable of making a positive impact on their communities. Each of the honored students embodies the highest standards of excellence that we uphold as an institution.

The ceremony was filled with emotion, as new members were welcomed and current members renewed their commitment to this honorable society. The words of our school leaders and the candle-lighting ritual symbolized the path of responsibility, growth, and contribution that each student is called to follow.

We proudly congratulate all the students who are part of the National Honor Society and encourage them to continue being purposeful leaders, both inside and outside the classroom.

An unforgettable experience with the Caribbean Queens!

Our volleyball team had a unique experience attending the final training session of the Caribbean Queens before their participation in the Nations League.

At the Tony Barreiro Sports Complex at UASD, our students witnessed the full training session, shared special moments with the players, took photos, received autographs, and heard words full of inspiration.

An experience they will undoubtedly carry in their hearts forever.

A concert full of love and talent!

Elementary students celebrated Mother’s Day with a heartfelt presentation full of music, smiles, and lots of love.

With special songs, words of affection, and enthusiastic performances, the children paid tribute to the women who are their greatest inspiration: their moms.

Thank you to all the mothers for your unconditional love and for being the driving force behind each of our days.
