Inauguration of the Exhibition ‘History that Unites Us: Let the Liberty Bell Ring’ at the Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano

En un emotivo evento, la encargada de negocios de la Embajada de los Estados Unidos en la República Dominicana, Patricia Aguilera, presentó formalmente a un grupo de talentosos artistas y sus impactantes obras, como parte del proyecto cultural Historias que nos Unen: Que suene la campana de la libertad.

El evento, que se llevó a cabo en un ambiente de celebración y reflexión, reunió a diversos artistas y personalidades destacadas. Durante la presentación, se exploró cómo el arte se convierte en un poderoso medio para promover la unión, la libertad y los valores democráticos, esenciales para el desarrollo y fortalecimiento de la sociedad.

Esta exposición no solo invita a la apreciación estética, sino también a la introspección y al diálogo sobre los valores que nos conectan como seres humanos. El público aún está a tiempo de disfrutar de estas extraordinarias obras que están siendo exhibidas en la Plaza del Estudiante, ubicada en la sede principal del Instituto Cultural Domínico Americano, en la avenida Abraham Lincoln.

During a special event, our students were recognized for their dedication and effort in living and promoting the fundamental values of Culture, Diversity, and Flexibility. The student community has demonstrated a remarkable ability to appreciate different perspectives, adapt to changes, and contribute to creating an inclusive and respectful environment within the school.

Teachers and administrators praised the young people for their commitment to these principles, which not only enrich their academic experience but also prepare them for the challenges they will face in the outside world.

Domínico Americano School promotes educational innovation in our Marketspace in partnership with Villa Campa School

After the inauguration of Domínico Americano School’s new Marketspace, an environment designed to foster practical learning in key technological areas, our talented teachers were trained in an advanced program conducted by experts from Villa Campa School, known for their focus on robotics, programming, and STEM.

Thanks to this training, teachers have acquired new knowledge in robotics and programming, which they are already enthusiastically sharing with our Cougars within the Marketspace. This space has become a key place for students to explore and develop technological skills, essential for their academic and professional growth.

In the coming weeks, more information will be shared with the educational community about this great experience our students are living, alongside our teachers and in collaboration with Villa Campa School.
