The ICDA participates in ABLA 2023

With the theme ‘Beyond the New Challenges: Binational Centers and their Role in Transforming Language Teaching in Latin America,’ the ABLA 2023 Conference was held in Bogotá, Colombia from May 23rd to 26th.

Representatives from the United States and more than nineteen Latin American countries attended this regional conference, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic.

This year’s conference focused on four major themes: English Teaching, Management, Socio-Cultural Innovation, and EducationUSA.

The Association of Binational Centers of Latin America, founded in 1988, promotes the connection of cultural centers with English language learning and mutual understanding between Spanish-speaking countries and the United States of America.
