Sixth Grade Students Represent the Dominican Republic at the 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship

Dallas, Texas – From May 12 to 14, a team of sixth-grade students had the honor of representing our institution at the 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship, competing in the Elementary (VEX IQ) category. This globally recognized event brings together the best educational robotics teams and was held in the city of Dallas, Texas.

This participation marks a historic milestone, as it is the first time the Dominican Republic has taken part in this world championship at the elementary level. Our students demonstrated great skill, commitment, and enthusiasm at every stage of the competition, securing their place on an international platform of innovation and technology.

The opportunity to participate in this event was made possible through collaboration with the Villacampa School of Technology, the organization leading the robotics program at our institution and a key contributor to the technical training of our students.

We congratulate our students for their effort, discipline, and for proudly representing our country and educational community. This achievement fills us with pride and reaffirms our commitment to quality education focused on developing 21st-century skills.
