Domínico Americano School celebrates the graduation of the Altheia Class of 2025

The Domínico Americano School proudly celebrated the graduation ceremony of the Altheia Class of 2025, an emotional event that marked the end of a pivotal chapter in the lives of the students.

The ceremony began with the procession of the graduates accompanied by their sponsors, followed by the singing of the national anthems of the Dominican Republic and the United States of America.

The welcome speech was delivered by Linda Mauad Font, Director of the Domínico Americano School, who highlighted the dedication, maturity, and commitment of this generation in the face of a constantly changing world. The opening speech by the students was given by the Salutatorian of the Class of 2025, Omar Alejandro Uribe Vargas, with a message focused on gratitude and the lessons learned along the way.

The central moment of the ceremony was the presentation of diplomas and awards, led by Eng. Ramón Sosa, Executive Director of ICDA, and Linda Mauad Font, Director of DAS, who congratulated each student for their efforts and achievements.

Likewise, special recognitions were awarded to outstanding students, with the participation of Lucy Threan de Lamarche, Vice President of the Board of Directors; Adalgisa Núñez, High School Counselor; Sandra Díaz, President of the Parents’ Committee.

At the end of the ceremony, Eng. Ramón Sosa, through his words, encouraged the young graduates to lead with integrity and to maintain their passion for learning. The Valedictorian of the class, Eva Luna Amado Alberto, closed with a heartfelt farewell speech, full of gratitude, dreams, and commitment to the future.

With the official presentation of the graduates, the Domínico Americano School bid farewell to a class that leaves behind a legacy of excellence, values, and growth. The educational community enthusiastically celebrates the beginning of a new chapter for these young leaders.
