Domínico Americano School celebrates 6th grade graduation titled ‘Gears of Growth, Minds in Motion.’
On June 11th, we experienced a heartfelt and meaningful graduation ceremony in which our 6th-grade students completed a key stage of their academic journey and took the long-awaited step into Middle School.
Under the theme “Gears of Growth, Minds in Motion,” the event highlighted the process of evolution and constant movement that characterizes this stage of childhood.
The ceremony began with the entrance of the graduates, followed by the singing of the anthems. Our principal, Ms. Linda Mauad, delivered a welcome speech in which she emphasized the value of growth, perseverance, and camaraderie experienced throughout the school year.
The teachers shared messages filled with gratitude, affection, and wise advice. Afterwards, the diplomas were awarded, formally recognizing our students’ transition to a new educational stage.
One of the most emotional moments was the students’ speeches, where they shared memories and reflections that touched everyone present. Then, they delighted us with an artistic performance, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm.
The event concluded with farewell words from Ms. Mauad, who encouraged the students to keep moving forward with purpose, an open mind, and a passion for learning.
We congratulate our families, teachers, and most of all, our graduates. Middle School will be a new opportunity to keep growing and shining!
