8th grade says goodbye to Middle School with an emotional graduation ceremony
With joy, pride, and a look toward the future, the 8th grade students experienced their graduation ceremony, closing a chapter that encouraged them to grow with tools, values, and knowledge.
The ceremony, held on June 11, was titled “Powered by Knowledge,” a phrase that captures the spirit of this generation: young people committed to their learning, personal development, and desire to leave a mark on the world.
The event began with the entrance of the graduates and the singing of the anthems, marking the start of a solemn and meaningful ceremony. Our principal, Ms. Linda Mauad, gave a welcome speech where she highlighted the preparation, intellectual curiosity, and leadership that have characterized this class.
The teachers delivered messages, reflecting on shared moments and recognizing each student’s effort. Afterwards, the diplomas were awarded, accompanied by gestures of pride and emotion from the families present.
The graduates themselves spoke, sharing reflections, memories, and words of gratitude. Their participation led into an artistic performance that showcased their creativity, sense of humor, and teamwork.
The ceremony concluded with farewell words from Ms. Mauad, who encouraged them to continue their journey in High School with determination, knowing that the knowledge they have gained is the best tool to face new challenges.
From Domínico Americano School, we congratulate our 8th grade students for all they have achieved. May knowledge continue to be the engine that drives them forward!
